When I first heard the news of George Michael’s death, I couldn’t believe it and I was shocked. That news stopped me completely when I working on the “What you need to know about BDSM” article. I know that everyone reading was thinking the same thing I was in that moment which was this: “Everytime I think of Christmas, I will remember the death of George Michael”.
It really sucks that he died and he looked healthy but of course appearance can be deceiving . So far, there was no autopsy report yet but supposedly he died from heart failure. Maybe he was still addicted to drugs? Maybe he had a weak heart or Maybe after the years of drug abuse, it finally caught up to him? Honestly who knows and who gives a shit, The point is that another celebrity died in 2016 and the year hasn’t even ended yet.
George Michael had a great voice and a good looking guy(NO HOMO, even tho he is gay). He had made so many great songs. I remember the first song I ever heard from him, I was between 12 to 15 years old( I cant remember my exact age at the time), I was in the car with my family and my mom needed to do errands or something like that. We were listening to the radio and soon after, Wham! started playing. Holy shit, when I first heard the song, I loved it and I started nodding my head with joy, listening to it. I asked my sister what’s the name of the song and she replied ” Wham!- Everything She Wants”. As soon as she told me, I tried to remember so that I can look it up in my computer and listen to it again which I did when I got home later on that day. I didn’t even know he was gay till my sister told me as I could recall, I didn’t care cause I still love his music. I still listen to his songs to this day and I always will because to me, his songs are timeless and they never get boring unlike some music today.
The only thing I can say about his death is this: RIP George Michael, Your songs will live on and so is your legacy.
